Meadow Park Children’s Center is designed for infants to school aged children through 5th grade. We have been awarded a 5 star rating through Step Up to Quality because of our commitment to quality and excellent early care and education program.

But so much more than high quality programing, we provide a safe, caring, and nurturing environment where children can learn, love, and grow.

The Children’s Center welcomes families and children of all faiths, creeds and ethnic origins, and affirms the positive value of diversity.

Main Curriculum

Meadow Park Children’s Center’s curriculum honors the development of the whole child, respecting the fact that children learn and demonstrate their knowledge in a variety of ways. We use Creative Curriculum and utilize Teaching Strategies Gold for quarterly formal assessment. The curriculum is aligned with the Ohio Department of Education’s Early Learning and Development Standards as well as the K-5th grade standards and provides developmentally appropriate experiences that incorporate all areas of development.  It is our desire to build a strong foundation to insure success as they enter Kindergarten and nurture them as they discover their full worth and potential as an individual.

Spiritual Curriculum

We nurture each child’s unique expression of God’s presence in their lives through play, stories, music, and prayer. Each week through a large group experience we have Praise at the Park, and we use Orange Curriculum, which is broken into two categories: First Look and 252. First Look focuses on infants through preschoolers, and focuses on three main points: God loves me, God made me, and Jesus wants to be my friend forever. 252 focuses on school-agers and strives to have them grow up making wiser choices, building stronger relationships, and developing a deeper faith.
