We’re excited to share with you that we are making plans to renovate the Meadow Park Children’s Center from top to bottom! Our center has made an impact on hundreds of families like yours for over 50 years and it’s time to RE:NEW!

With hundreds of kids and families in and through our doors 5 days a week, 50 weeks a year, our kids’ spaces see lots of action (meaning wear and tear). It’s time for an overhaul to make our center like new again so we can keep impacting kids in Columbus for years to come.

Thanks to the generosity of the people of Meadow Park we have already replaced our parking lot, fenced in our playground, and repaired our roof this year. Now it’s time to RE:NEW the inside.

It’s going to take ALL OF US to make this vision of renewal a reality.

We invite you to help us create a fresh and updated kids space where children in our city can continue to experience first-hand the love and attention of dedicated teachers guiding them to discover who God created them to be.

For the kids,

Sandy Bailey,
Children’s Center Director

Dr. Mark Krenz,
 Lead Pastor

About the Project

The Children’s Center RE:NEW project is part of a larger $870,000 RE:NEW Initiative for Meadow
Park Church which includes six major renovations phases: The worship center, the parking lot,
the Children’s Center, the lobby and common areas, the exterior, and the church’s NextGen areas.
Phases 1 and 2, the worship center and the parking lot, have already been completed.

Phase 3: The Children’s Center - $225,000

  • New Flooring and Paint: Entry, Hallways, Classrooms, Offices,
    Muscle Room, and Great Hall

  • Completely Remodel Main Bathrooms

  • Renew Kids’ Bathrooms: New flooring and paint

  • Update Lighting to LED

  • Replace/Renew Classroom Cabinets

The people of Meadow Park Church have already generously committed and given $125,000
to the Children’s Center for Phase 3,
as well as giving to repave the parking lot and repair the roof.

$100,000 Goal

Our goal is to raise the remaining $100,000 to cover updates primarily for classrooms and cabinetry. This is the ideal time to update our cabinets which hold all of our classroom teaching supplies, crafts, toys, books, snacks, dishes, etc. Updating the cabinets, many of which are in great need of
replacement, will help us completely finish the classroom remodel.

“There are no words to describe how thankful and blessed we feel to have our children attend Meadow Park. We will always be grateful for the many things our children are learning and the loving care they receive on a daily basis.”
